This is Casey.
If you were to see Casey out and about how old would you think he was? 5 maybe 6?
NO.....Casey is 15 years old. His small size comes from years of neglect.
Years of laying in a crib day in and day out.
Years without proper food.
YEARS without love....
Without his mommy and daddy.
Casey is an amazingly precious soul who was sent here straight from heaven.
Straight from God's hands EXACTLY the way that he is.
There is nothing WRONG with Casey.....this love bug is absolutely, 100% perfect, without a doubt the way that God has always intended for him to be.
He is tiny.......SO WHAT.
He is 15.......SO WHAT.
He has Cerebral Palsy....SO WHAT.
You know what does matter. The fact that HE NEEDS YOU.
Casey has 6 months to find a forever family. That means that if his family doesn't AT LEAST START the paperwork to adopt him in the next 6 months all hope will be lost.
That means that he will spend the rest of his life in that God Forsaken place.
It means he spends the rest of his life not knowing what it means to be love.
That means that WE as a people have failed him.
It may not mean much to you because you have never met him or because he is just a picture on a computer screen, but I can tell you right now it means something to GOD. I don't want to stand before him and be asked why I did not do my best to care for the least of these.
